Webster defines love as “a deep affection or liking for someone or something.” But more than that, love is the basis of our being. Our very existence is the evidence of God’s love; a love that transcends human comprehension. What is evident, and can be clearly seen by all who know and love the Lord, is that where there is love, there is peace and joy that can overcome any adversity.
As it is with each of the characters in this volume, their love for God and each other allowed them to overcome their circumstances and enjoy the tranquility that God so lovingly intended in the beginning.
